Is this journey for me?
This journey is designed for travelers who want to experience Cabo Pulmo beyond a conventional dive trip. Guests should be comfortable swimming, boarding small boats, spending extended periods outdoors, and participating in multiple days of diving.
Age requirement: 10+ / Guests under 18 must travel with an adult.
An Open Water Diver Certification is required to participate in the diving program. If you are not yet certified, an optional Open Water Diver Certification Package can be arranged prior to the journey. Contact us before booking so we can coordinate certification requirements, timing, and additional costs.
Departure
Departure at Los Cabos International Airport, Cabo San Lucas, La Paz, or another agreed meeting point. Time confirmed according to arrival and transfer arrangements.
About the Host: Dabu
A traveler who found home at the edge of the desert and the sea.
After years of traveling the world in search of antiques and cultural pieces for Mexico City's Museum of Anthropology and other museums, Dabu's life took her across four continents, remote places, and extraordinary cultures.
In 2017, she arrived in Cabo Pulmo at night.
Under one of the most beautiful skies she had ever seen, something felt different.
The next morning, the contrast between the desert and the deep blue Sea of Cortez made it clear: she had found a place that felt like home.
By the end of 2020, she had made Cabo Pulmo her permanent base and created Casa Capelung — a home shaped by pieces of her travels, experiences, and dreams.
Today, her life revolves around the things she loves most: diving, sailing, hiking, kayaking, yoga, art, music, healthy food, culture, and bringing people together.
For Dabu, hosting is about more than offering a place to stay.
It is an invitation to experience Cabo Pulmo through the eyes of someone who traveled the world before choosing this place as home.
